Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carpenter born in the past three hundred years. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born in a small forest village. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Laborer.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Helen embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helen grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure.
