History: Rolf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Egelina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fisher.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His first spouse was a Guard, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a deep hatred of brigands
