History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Maynild's homeland. Maynild decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
