History: Joan was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her first spouse was a Mortician, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her long blonde hair reaches down to her waist. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
