History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Dilettante father left him crippled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second son.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Elysande grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Elysande. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
