Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
