History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Juliana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Cory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Cory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Emmeline was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To be a Miner again; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the east to a Tanner, Randal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult
