History: She comes from a rich western family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After months of barely getting by, Anne managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. A friendly and beautiful Human, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.
History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Mary alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with her Blacksmith father left her crippled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears professional attire. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.
Personality: Balimaar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
