History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by her family.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Alex learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.
