History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Adventurer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Adventurer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Adventurer responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
