Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by her family; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melissa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
