Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the north to a Body Guard, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man is very fat, and is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, black shirt, and blue tie. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has green eyes and a blue hat with a black feather.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and regain custody of his son

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: This dark-skinned male wears long strands of amber and short blue dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Gunter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gunter's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he has money and likes to spend it
