Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Matilda was born with her mother's beautiful face. Through the years after Matilda was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Matilda's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
