History: Gifted from a young age, Miles studied abroad. Miles was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Miles decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Bertram was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Apothecary. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
