History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Geoffrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gifted student she started as a Navigator, but she got bored and became a Spice Merchant. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.
