History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Everard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Hugh was born the youngest of three triplets. Hugh was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to unite with his sister

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A freak accident while working with her Bowyer father left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and doesn't want to be a ploughman and was forced into it by her family
