History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Sarah has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
