Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oriel embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Oriel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Herleva fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by her family; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
