Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Maynild embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting dire rats, the young Maynild began to lead the lost caravan. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north to a Detective, Emma learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.
