History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Tanner business.

History: Katherine lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second daughter.
