History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Eleanor was raised in a hard working conservative environment. After coming to the age of reason, Eleanor took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Soapmaker.
