History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Ella was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ella's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Thomas was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Baker. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
