History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Heather alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She's in love.
