Description: An older man who wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is braided into rings. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his small pastel hat.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. She wears professional attire. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her hair is red and curly. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Jacoba's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jacoba grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
