Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Egelina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her youth she was a Bricklayer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has worked as a Scribe like her mother before her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mary embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the north to a Beggar, Sarah learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Beggar.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
