History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Anne was taken on many hunting expeditions. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She prefers to wear red clothing when she does not wear armor. Her red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emmeline grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emmeline. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is a Knight first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and sabotage a competitor
