History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Richard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
