The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Conrad took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Trym hails from a village terrorized by giants. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
