Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ernest grew up listening to his father's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with his Architect father left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and someone believes him a fraud

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. After coming to the age of reason, Tim took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
