History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ahlyssa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
