Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Aldous was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Aldous's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and she feels threatened by others
