History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: An older man who is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. A true patriot, Roland would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Roland was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roland decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He's also a talented Mason, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
