History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born in the north to a Engraver, Alexandre learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Engraver job and began his own company from there.
