History: Born in the south to a Banker, Theodoric learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Banker. He has worked as a Banker like his mother before him.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mortician. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mortician for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Emeny was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Emeny's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Dean was taken on many hunting expeditions. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
