Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mortician. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
