History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Reynard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
