History: Percival was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
