She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Eleanor alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Eleanor and her spouse have recently divorced.
