History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
