Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.
History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Description: A middle-aged woman, she dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a black coat with blue slacks, and is pretty ugly. She has wavy auburn hair. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.
Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Crown-heir. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. Her hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. Her ears are large.
Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.
History: Helen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears dull grey sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hammer, just in case. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: Gifted from a young age, Theodoric studied abroad. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Theodoric alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
