History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Wymar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
