History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born in the north. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
