Afterwards she claimed she had encountered dire rats who tried to eat her hand. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Justin embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Justin is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. His hair is silver and curly. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hubert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
