History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Courier. She tends to her Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her childhood dream was to be a Courier, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His brown hair is thinning but still full. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
