Description: This dark-skinned male tends to wear a green poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the right. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Charles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.
History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she's looking for her big break

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a bow on her belt. Her chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed red hat.
Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
