He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: She was born into a rich family. Through the years after Hugolina was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hugolina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Painter. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born into a rich family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. After months of barely getting by, Sybil managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she has decided she is irredeemable

His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Trym lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
