History: Katherine was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

History: Gifted from a young age, Balimaar studied abroad. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Balimaar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
