History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Emmeline alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
