History: Gifted from a young age, Joan studied abroad. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She now mingles about in high society.
