History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Egelina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Egelina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
